Hooked on books is where students would read a chapter book and they would write a 500 word review about that book that they read.
We interview three students Amelia, Maddy, and Bella and asked them some questions based on the book and these were our answers.
From our interview we found that 21 students were involved in Hooked on Books. It was placed at Casebrook Intermediate and for most of the students it took about 3 - 4 weeks or they didn't finish the book. Some of the books that were read were Cuz, Zeustian Logic and Air Born. We also found out that they enjoyed the experience of Hooked on Books and would recommend it to other students.
But one disadvantage was that some of them weren’t able to choose their book.
