On the 20th of September a group of 80 children went to Mount Hutt for a day skiing or snowboarding.
Five teachers went and one of the five teachers was Mr Broad. You had to wake up early and go on the bus. They had a nice sunny day. When they got there they had a lesson from 11:00am -12:00pm then lunch, after that the opportunity to ski or snowboard and if you needed help you had supervisors wearing a bright orange vest.
When we interviewed Jaime Humm from Room 8, Leteisha Gibbs from Room 11, Sarah Wilson from Room 14, and Bobby Careford from Room 7. We found out that they all went skiing not snowboarding and they all wouldn’t do tricks except fall over or turn around. They all went skiing because it was fun and they wanted to experience it. Jamie Humm wanted to go so he didn’t have to do school work. It wasn’t a shock waking up early for them because they already do and all four of the people we interviewed didn’t think it was that hard when you got the hang of it. The five teachers that went on this ski trip were Mr Broad, Miss McKenzie, Miss Rennie, Miss Sherwin and lastly Mr Stribling.
