Tēnā Koutou Katoa - The Show Goes On Despite Uncertain Times

We have made the decision to continue with our school show performances during Week one of next term. The students and staff have spent a great deal of time preparing and we really believe the students deserve to perform to an audience. The details around how to obtain tickets have been sent out by app alerts and email. If the region moves to Level One between now and showtime we will make more tickets available for each performance. Thank you for your understanding of this situation but we are really making it all about our young people.

Athletics day was a great event, sadly without the spectators.  The levels of participation from our students far exceeded previous years.  Well done to all who took part and thank you to Mr Tom Straker for his organization.

During the first week of the holidays, the refurbishment of Rooms 1- 4 will begin.  This is long overdue and will make such a difference to the learning spaces we have.  The plan is a replica of the middle block of classrooms.  We are fortunate to have space for the classes to move to and so we are confident there will be little disruption to our students day to day learning.

At this time of year, we often carry out reviews on our systems and programmes of learning.  During this process, we seek feedback from students, staff, and parents.  Your input is important as how your child describes their learning to you may be quite different to what we see and hear here at school.  In this newsletter, there are links to our Mathematics review and the review of our PB4L programme or as you would know it, our REP programme.  Your participation would be most appreciated.

Enjoy the break and we all hope we can return to an uninterrupted Term Four.
