Hip Hop Success!

On August 4th at Hornby High School two of the hip hop groups represented Casebrook at a dance tournament. Both teams did extremely well with Velocity placing 1st and CI Crew 2nd! They performed the dances to perfection and made Casebrook proud by showing REP and doing their absolute best.

We wanted to find out how the people involved felt and here are their responses.

Were you proud of the teams for placing?

Miss Sherwin: of course because they have been working really hard

How many teams were the groups competing against?

Miss Sherwin: altogether there were 12 teams/groups in the year 7 and 8 area

How long have the groups been practising their competition dance?

Nikia: we have been practising since about the middle of term 2

What was your favourite part of the competition?

Nikia: just dancing in general

Sophie: getting to perform as a team.

Casebrook couldn’t be any more proud of both teams and want to pass on a massive congratulations!
