A great showcase of the talented musicians we have at Casebrook!
Week 10, Term two, during lunch we had a music concert featuring the drums, piano (and piano duets), violin, choir, guitar etc. in our school hall. This concert featured the majority of students in our school who are learning an instrument or are part of a music group
The concert stretched out for the whole lunchtime showing many different instruments and music pieces. Casebrook Singers sang Penny Lane by the Beatles to the beat of the piano and their conductor was the choir teacher James.
We interviewed Mrs Feron who is in charge of music at Casebrook about the concert:
How long did it take to set up the hall ready for the concert?
It took her and her helpers just over an hour making sure the equipment worked, that the musicians were ready and that the seats were out and set up.
What was her favourite performance?
She liked them all but the choir stood out on top showing their courage and strong voices.
What instrument or choir had the best song choice?
She likes all the choices with the drums. From big loud outgoing ones to just the slightest softer sounds.
We hope that everyone that went to the performance enjoyed it as much as all the students and staff did.
