Our contributing schools visited us on Tuesday and Wednesday to get a taste of life at Casebrook.
Year six students from Papanui, Redwood, Bishopdale, Northcote, and Cotswold visited Casebrook, spending time participating in activities and getting to know our staff and students.
The Year six students were greeted by our wonderful Casebrook student Leadership team before heading to experience three different classes.
The following classes gave students a glimpse of life in a week at Casebook:
Art with Mrs. Zant
Hard Materials with Mr. Cook
Food with Mrs. Dick McCann
Digi with Mr. Mutch
Science with Mrs. Rousse
Team building with Miss McKenzie
Pasifika with Miss Wilkinson
Te Reo Maori with Mrs. Yardley
Sport with Mr. Russell
While the primary school students were enjoying their time at Casebrook, the student council was working to put together a sausage sizzle for the guests.
Thank you to the Casebrook students who represented the school with pride. You shared knowledge around what life is like at an intermediate school, making the Year six students excited for their transition. A huge thank you to Mr. Cook who organised both days, putting Casebrook in a very impressive light.
