On the 8th of June the Casebrook Rovers were excited as we stepped off the bus and got ready to play their first 2021 winter Hagley Football game. We warmed up and then the game began, it was Casebrook vs Breens. The game started well, we scored a goal not far into the game, we passed well as a team, and ended the second half on a promising lead of 3:1. In the second half, Breens stepped up and scored two goals evening the score and in the end, it was a tie. Everyone played their best and felt proud of how well we had played in our first game. The player of the day was Eddie because he did amazing passes and crosses into the box.

Result: Casebrook 2-1 Cobham
As we started this game some of us (including Cobham) were a bit hesitant as it was our first game. But Cobham quickly picked up the pace for a goal five minutes in, making it 1-0. After that there was a lot of booting the ball back and forth, and barely any breakaways. When halftime came we were all pretty tired as we had no subs. But after halftime Casebrook Athletic came back to score a goal tying it up making it 1-1. About three mins later another goal was scored by Athletic, letting them hold a one-goal lead as it was 2-1. With about 10 mins left we played a lot of defense trying to hold our lead. Later on, it was still 2-1 but Cobham then had the ball. With it being the last play Athletic sprinted up the field to stop them as they did successfully. Ending up with a nice win to start off the season.
Result: Casebrook Athletic 3-0 Chisnallwood Green
As we came into our second game we didn’t feel so nervous after we got a win last week. We were there about 10 mins before them and we thought that they might not turn up. But then we saw them and we quickly started our game. BOOM! already 45 secs in and we scored a goal to make it 1-0 to us. After that, we scored two more quick goals in the first half making it 3-0 to us at half-time. But then Chisnallwood sorted themselves out and denied all of our goal attempts and managed to get a few shots in but all of those either missed or got saved by good goalkeeping.

Game 1
On Tuesday the 8th of June, Casebrook FC arrived at Hagley to play a game of football against Heaton A. Heaton started off strong with the first goal of the game, but FC kept their heads up and kept fighting. This paid off as before half time they managed to get two quick goals to pull them ahead. The second half wasn’t quite as exciting as no one was able to put the ball in the back of the net. So Casebrook FC walked away with the 2-1 win. Both goals were scored by William Sandford and Max Brazier picked up player of the day. Overall a great first game with some great passing and teamwork to set up the goals.
Game 2
On Tuesday the 15th of June it was time for game two against Kirkwood A and Casebrook FC was rearing to start. FC started off quickly managing to score a few quick goals in a matter of minutes and towards the end of the first half they were up 4-0, but in the last play of the half Kirkwood fought back and got a goal. Kirkwood stepped up their game and FC was faced with a hard challenge. FC fought hard though and was able to score two more goals to finish off the game with a 6-1 win. The goals scored were by Archie, William x 2, Sayed, Kenshi and Leon who picked up player of the day. Overall another great game by Casebrook FC with some great passing and goals.
