Year 8 working in clay work and Year 7 paper mache.
Year eight students are working in clay this term and work will be fired in the school kiln. Exciting as this machine has not been used in a while and it is a fabulous resource to have so the cobwebs have been dusted off and it's ready for use again. The students are creating a decorative pillar based on their own theme and artist/architect Antoni Gaudi.
Year seven students are working in paper mache and creating a hot air balloon. The theme is of their own choice and some great fun is being had while working with such a messy material!
More information and photos will be shared as work continues to be developed.
