Casebrook held an assembly last Friday to commemorate our 50th year in education in the community.
A big thanks to retired Casebrook teacher Patricia Stoneman who spoke about life at Casebrook in the early years compared to today. Board of Trustees chair, Rhys Williams, then talked about the future of our school.
We enjoyed a number of performances from the Kapa Haka and Chorale, as well as a solo from Emma Lilly who performed admirably through sound issues (quite possibly a 50 year old microphone cable playing up?).
The celebration ended with a 50 photo and then all enjoyed amazing cupcakes (400 of them!) made by Helen Davanney (Casebrook parent and staff member).
Thanks to our parents and family in the community who were able to join us for this special occasion.
Enjoy some photos below. If you would like to view photo's from the past years please visit the school office. These will be on display for a couple of weeks.
