On the 15th of February 2021, the water polo A team played their first game of the season at Jellie Park playing a friendly game against Christ The King. The team consisted of Elliot, Max, Toby, Bella, Edmund, Lokie, Jay, Will, Ben and Lincoln.
We interviewed two people who are a part of the water polo team and asked them these questions.
How do you think the team is going to go this year?
The first person we interviewed was Max Brazier; this was his answer. (A)“Even though we lost we played well for our first match and we developed lots as a team.” (B) "I can't wait to see the team improve over the year.” The second person we interviewed was Elliot, another member of the team. His answer was. (A)“We passed well but we need to work on staying on a player.” (B) “I think we will go well if we keep going hard in training.”
The A team plays on Monday every week as well as having their training on Wednesdays. There is yet to be a B team for Casebrook water polo but there will be trials later this term. If you have any further questions about water polo at Casebrook, see Miss McKenzie in Room 5.
