The 03’ Collective, a dance showcase held on the 7th of November. Many studios across Christchurch came together to raise money and awareness for mental health.
The 03’ Collective is a dance showcase to show off all the dancers across Christchurch, the show went for 2 hours.
A bunch of dance studios across Christchurch came together to bring the showcase to life, they raised tons of money for mental health organisations. 03’ meaning the Christchurch area code.
A group of students from Casebrook participated in the event. We interviewed Allazade from Room 1 and Addison from Room 2. We asked them questions about The 03’ Collective and here’s what they said. “The experience was good, we were in the Green Room for the majority of the performance. The quick costume changes were very intense but the vibes throughout the whole showcase was really cool.” They performed Junior Collective and Unity.
Both of them had three training sessions a week, and they made many new friends from different dance studios.
