Here are some handy hints to ensure we use our cloakrooms and bag bins appropriately!
Cloakrooms and bag bins are a shared space. It's really important that we use them properly to ensure we keep both our and others' belongings safe!
CLOAKROOMS
Use one hook for all the items you bring to school such as your school bag, jacket, sports bag. This means that there will be enough space for everyone to store their gear.
Keeping bags closed or zipped up
Moving any lost property to the classroom or to the lost property bin so that they can be returned to their owner
Keeping the floor clear of clothing, food and bags
Placing any rubbish or leftover food in the rubbish bin provided
Emptying the rubbish bin each day
Remembering cloakrooms are for practical use – keep socialising for outside the cloakroom
Moving around the cloakroom area with respect for others
BAG BINS
Make sure your bag is zipped up before placing it into the class bag bin.
Keeping the bottom of the bin clear of clothing, food and wrappers
Placing any rubbish or leftover food in the rubbish bin provided
Moving any lost property to the classroom or to the lost property bin so that they can be returned to their owner
Over the next two weeks, there is a competition running for the best looking bag bin and/or cloakroom. Make sure you do your bit!
