Last games were played as part of a nonsensical 'all teams in one pool scenario' which reflected in some strange results...

Casebrook FC had their final match of Hagley sport last week. Although they lost it was all around a good and enjoyable match. The goals were scored by Cameron and Harrison. Cameron got three and Harrison got two. We were all having a bit of fun as it didn’t really matter if we lost and the final result was Casebrook FC 5-6 Hillmorton.
A big thank you to Russell Kamo our coach for the season, he was really helpful and a great coach. Thank you to Mr Leith as well for the intense, highly tactical, school training every Thursday.
Overall a great season from the boys. I'm sure we are all looking forward to the CAIMS tournament in a couple of weeks.

Casebrook United vs Heaton FC was a tough game. First Heaton scored and made it one-nil. Then Dylan Connor got injured with a ball to the face. Then I scored the Casebrook goal. Heaton retaliated with their right-back scoring on the swivel in the side of the goal. The goalkeeper had no chance. Then in the second to last play, Heaton scored again. Full time 3-1!!! Thanks to Mr Strong for covering while Mr Leith was away.
Overall the season for Casebrook United was okay. We won two out of six games but all our games were close. We normally conceded a goal early because we hadn’t woken up but we started getting into games after that. Grayson scored a lot of goals this season. Sayed, Boraq, Hunter, Riley and I all got one though. Our midfield was quite strong this season, so overall not too bad! Thanks to Mr Leith for his shrewd tactical analysis and outstanding refereeing throughout the (short) Hagley season, and to the parents who came down prior to level 2 to support us.
Casebrook Wanderers

Last week, the Casebrook Wanderers had their final match of the season. Although we lost, we played well and enjoyed the game. Our season wasn’t bad. We started off with a bang, winning our first two games 7-1. We played as a team throughout all the games. (It helped that we all knew each other.) Despite losing a few games, we kept our heads held high and continued to play the game we love playing.
I’d like to say a big thank you to Mr Leith, Dan Carter (our gameday coach) and all the supporters out there for an amazing and fun Football season.
I look forward to trialling for Casebrook Football again next year as I really enjoyed playing for them and being part of the team.
