On the 30th of June and the 2nd of July, Cotswold, Papanui, Redwood, Northcote and Bishopdale schools came to take a look around our school.
When the students arrived they were greeted by the Casebrook student Leadership team. Each child went to three different classes to feel what it is like to be a Casebrook student. While all the primary kids were having fun in their classes the Casebrook student council were hard at work putting together a lovely sausage sizzle for all the primary school kids. At morning tea the visiting students had a sausage sizzle cooked for them and spent time with the student council students.
We spoke to some of the Casebrook leadership team who were part of the organisation during contributing schools.
Ashleigh: I enjoyed meeting the kids and helping out with the games. I also enjoyed seeing the look on the kids faces when they got their delicious sausage.
Yassman: I enjoyed taking the kids on a tour of the school and helping out in general. I also enjoyed helping out with the yummy sausage sizzle.
Adian: I enjoyed meeting all the year six students and seeing who the future kids of Casebrook could be. I also loved playing all the fun games with the Year six’s.
