On Monday 15th of June we interviewed, Miss Goble, a Student Teacher in Room 16. She has come all the way from Canada to teach at Casebrook.
1. What made you want to be a teacher?
My mum has been a teacher for 26 yrs and inspired me to teach, ever since I was a child I wanted to follow her footsteps and become a teacher.
2. Whats your favourite thing about Casebrook?
How many extracurricular activities there are.
3. Do you like being in Room 16?
I love being in Room 16, It's an amazing class, they are very welcoming and it's very fun.
4. Where are you from?
I am from Toronto, Canada
5. Have you enjoyed your time in NZ so far?
Absolutely I've hiked the best tracks, seen the best views and people are very welcoming.
6. Where have you travelled in NZ?
I have been to Wanaka, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Hanmer Springs and Roys Peak
7. Whats different between NZ and Canada?
The accent and the seasons are completely opposite and you also drive on the right side of the road.
8. Favourite food in the canteen?
I haven't been to the canteen but I have heard lots about juicies and I'm dying to try it.
9. Whats your favourite animal?
My favourite animals are dolphins and zebras, and I also have a chocolate lab and a black lab.
10. What is your favourite hobby?
Spending time with family and friends and I also like to hike.
