We interviewed Year 8 teacher, Miss Petrina Wilkinson from Room 14, about her time at Casebrook Intermediate, her experience as a teacher, and some of her favourite things.
Miss Wilkinson has enjoyed her time at Casebrook so far. She has been teaching for 12 years and was born in Blenheim. Miss Wilkinson became a teacher because she loved working with kids, and wanted to do something different.
Outside of school, Miss Wilkinson loves to spend time with her dog and her family in her free time. Other interests also include cooking, baking, going to the beach and the park. She is a fan of R&B and hip hop music and her favourite season is winter because she likes the cold. One thing she is really proud of is being a great role model for Pasifika students.
So far, Miss Wilkinson's favourite things about Casebrook are all the opportunities she gets to experience and all of the funny students around the school. She also had an awesome time at camp with Room 14.
We are really excited to have you at Casebrook!
