On Friday 6th of March, Casebrook held their first inter-house competition for 2020, the annual tug of war competition. Each house went head to head to win 1st place and earn house points.
After lunch, the whole school headed out to the field to see who was the strongest and loudest house. It was a really close competition with each house receiving a win, here are the results:
Year 7 girls: Cavendish
Year 7 boys: Sawyers
Year 8 girls: Veitches
Year 8 boys: Northfield
The last match was Staff VS Students, the house leaders and student council representatives competed against the staff. It was a very convincing win for the staff - well done!
Our house leaders did a fantastic job of creating their house chants, Veitches was the loudest house on the day and took out 1st place for the chant competition.
Congratulations to the overall tug of war champions for 2020, Veitches!! Well done to Cavendish who followed closely behind for 2nd place.
Finally, a huge thank you to Mr Foster for organising such a fun afternoon, it was a huge success and everyone enjoyed the day.
We look forward to our next inter-house competition for 2020.
