Open Night is a time where Casebrook showcases the many and varied parts that make up our school curriculum. We appreciated the positive feedback from many people visiting our school for the first time and took the greatest pleasure from the comments around how polite and engaged our students were. We work very hard at putting the students learning experiences at the heart of all we do. Thank you for your support in allowing students to participate in this event.
This morning 107 Casebrook students and our visiting Korean students departed for Mount Hutt for a day of skiing and snowboarding. Conditions on the mountain look fabulous after the recent snowfall - we hope everyone had a fun and successful time on the slopes. Thank you to Sunia Halaifonua for organising today's trip.
Performing
Arts lessons are well underway and our dance teacher, Mandy Roberts, is
working with all students to choreograph their class item. The dances
are coming along well and this is largely down to the positive attitudes
students are bringing to their lessons.
Next Tuesday is the last round of the Hagley Sport Competition - good luck to all of the teams for their last game. Thank you to all of the teachers who have taken on the responsibility of coaching each of the winter sports that have been involved.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
