Earlier this year the students of Room 14 at Casebrook were asked to set goals they would achieve this year to do with helping others.
Sophie Brownlee decided that one of hers was going to be a bake sale, with all earnings going toward the Christchurch Children's Hospital.
She baked multiple things including whisky cakes (for adults), brownies, and cupcakes and sold them in her front yard.
She got lots of customers, lots who gave tips, and in the end she made over $300! Sophie is delivering it to the hospital this week and excited that she was able to help out.
