CAIMS Invitational Tournament

The CAIMS tournament was held on the 21st & 22nd of October. Our two basketball teams went to play at Pioneer Stadium in Christchurch.

Our two basketball teams finished their busy school year with another competition. The girls team did really well, narrowly losing to Cobham in the final. This was a great result as Cobham finished 2nd at AIMS Games in Tauranga. The boys team played really well and ended up finishing 3rd. 

Mr Foster and Miss Bull both thought the teams represented Casebrook really well. Both teachers also thought it would be good to do the tournament again as the teams got so close to winning. These teachers, along with Miss Aitken, have given up a lot of time to support the basketball teams this year, including Friday nights and even their weekends. Our basketball teams have been very lucky to have them volunteer their time so they can play the sport they love.
