On 19th June, Room 13 went to Summerset Retirement Village to play bingo with the residents.
Students from Room 13 walked down to Summerset Cavendish at 1:00pm. They had been there the last term for their inquiry on Relationships when they interviewed residents about their lives. When they got there they greeted the residents and sat down with the residents. Some of them even got to sit with the resident who was the focus of their inquiry. Then we started playing bingo. Each person got a card with numbers up to 75 with 25 number per card. We played five rounds.
Rules: The rules were that the first person to get a line had to shout out LINE and then got given a fruit burst. Then the next prize was to get the whole bingo card then you would shout out BINGO. If you got it you would get a chocolate bar.
It was very fun!
