A number of Casebrook students have been selected to play in either the A or B Waterpolo team this year. Water Polo is very physical water sport with lots of swimming and egg-beating. Six players are on at a time.
A Team
Last week, the Casebrook A-team were playing in the water polo semi-finals. We played Christ the King. If we won, we would have been playing Cobham Cheetahs in the finals for 1st or 2nd but we lost so we played Heaton A for 3rd or 4th.

Water polo fundraising
The Water polo team are fundraising to go to a Dunedin tournament in late Term 3. We have done a bake sale and successfully raised over $630 dollars! We are also doing a mufti day, sausage sizzle, hot chips at the canteen, garage sale and so much more. The Mufti day is on Friday 28 June. Bring a gold coin so you can wear your favourite clothes! You can buy hot chips from the canteen on Thursday 4 July. Make sure you bring some loose change to get you in a happy mood. Please support us so we can get to Dunedin!
A big thank you to Miss McKenzie, Mr Watts and Miss Chilvers for organising and supporting the teams and also a huge thanks to Blake and Moe for using your personal time to help and coach us this term. This couldn’t be possible without you!
