Otago Daily Times Extra Spelling Quiz

On the night of Wednesday the 8th of June six students from our school represented Casebrook at the Otago Daily Times Extra Spelling Quiz, which was held at Chisnallwood Intermediate.

There were over 75 teams competing and two of them were from Casebrook. There were 10 rounds with a maximum score of 100 points available in total. The Year 8 team got an awesome score of 91 and placed 8th equal, while the Year 7 team also got an amazing score of 89 and placed 10th equal.

Well done to everyone who took part!
