Casebrook Chess Club

Our Casebrook Chess Club sent a four person team to Heaton the week before last to compete in the Chess Power competitive division with personal success all round.

Congratulations to Bronte Perriam, Dylan Heathcote, Val DeVoer and Logan Mete who all competed with excellent spirit and skill at the chess competition. We arrived to a bustling hall and soon found our tables and competition. 

The atmosphere was one of excitement and all the players left the tournament with new found confidence. All the players did us proud and now have yet more experience with which to sharpen their game!

We will be heading out for two more competitions further into this term and the year and are always looking for new members of the club and team players for the competitions. So if you have not come along yet to show us your chess powers then we look forward to meeting you.
