It is important that students take personal responsibility for applying sunscreen regularly throughout the day, as well as ensuring they are appropriately dressed to the condition, including a suitable hat.
As the day will be a long one in the elements it is essential for students to come prepared with clothing for all weather and with plenty to eat and drink.
What to Bring:
T-shirt
Shorts or track pants
Good walking shoes or boots
Warm sweatshirt/hoodie
Sunhat
Sunscreen
A waterproof jacket may be required if cloud or drizzle is in the weather forecast
Morning tea (snacks)
A packed lunch
Lots of drink (No canned or bottled soda / energy drinks thanks)
Any medication in a sealed envelope with name on it
Any ipods, mobile phones or gaming devices won't be necessary so can be given to the teacher to be locked away until returning to school.
If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. ekennedy@casebrook.school.nz
