Luke McCallum is an awesome swimmer who recently competed in the Makos Juniors Swimming Final. The talented swimmer placed mostly first and second in his events, finding the 200 metre Individual Medley one of his most challenging events.
Luke McCallum has been training and swimming for 9-11 years. According to Luke, someone who helps him be a better swimmer is his Mum. Because she pushes him to be better everyday. Luke also said “I’m happy with how I did because I almost beat the Canterbury record and almost came 1st and 2nd in all my races”.
A fact about Luke is that his favourite place he has competed in is Invercargill, and his favourite event in the Makos Juniors Final was the 200 metre breaststroke.
We wish Luke great luck at his future competitions as well as in his future as a swimmer.
