We are proud to introduce our House Leaders for 2019
We asked each of our house leaders the following questions:
Read their response to find out more about them:
Keegan Piper:
I love all the opportunities that Casebrook gives me including Kapa Haka, music and sports, just to name a few. I am really looking forward to being Kapa Haka leader because I love everything to do with culture and leading. In my spare time I love playing heaps of sports and hanging out with friends. A special talent I have is I am a magician…..I know what you are doing right now…...you are reading this!
Chloe Morrison-Clarke:
What I love about Casebrook is all the options and opportunities available, everyone can find a sport, club or group they enjoy. I’m looking forward to taking on the responsibilities and opportunities being a Year 8 house captain offers, being part of the leadership team and helping to lead Sawyers to victory (sorry Cavendish, Northfield and Veitches)! In my spare time I like to go running, play netball, write, read, and meet new people. At school I’m looking forward to and really enjoy sport, Kapa Haka, writing, reading, flute and Specialist classes. A talent I have is being able to connect to lots of different people and writing. I’m looking forward to meeting all the amazing people in Yr 7 (especially Sawyers house)!
Beilal Masoomi:
Kia Ora, My name is Beilal Masoomi and I’m the leader of Cavendish along with Keira Christensen. The thing that really grabs me about Casebrook Intermediate School is all the opportunities it offers us students. There are just so many things you can try out for and give a go! This year I can’t wait to meet the new Cavendish students and lead them to victory in 2019. I usually code, draw, write and edit videos while I have spare time but mostly get outside and play some sport! My passion is soccer and I love shooting and practicing my skills.
Henry Goodall:
Hi my name is Henry and the things that I love about Casebrook are that the teachers are always nice and kind. I also love how friendly the students are. The thing that I am most looking forward to at Casebrook in 2019 is to be able to meet up with all of my friends from my old schools and trying out all the new opportunities that I didn’t try last year. In my spare time I like to eat and go on my computer and watch sport clips. My special talent is swimming because it wakes me up and helps me get rid of stress.
Katelyn Gee:
What I love about Casebrook is the great opportunities the school gives and how it respects and welcomes everyone to the school. This year I am looking forward to joining lots of clubs like robotics and music groups so I can make the most of Casebrook's opportunities. I will try my best to be a great leader for Veitches house. I really enjoy reading in my spare time and doing my Casebrook challenges as well. I also enjoy playing tennis. A few talents I have are drama and piano. This year I am aiming to do a grade 2 piano exam. I have been involved in kidsfest plays and the Anthony Harper Outdoor Theatre in Hagley Park. I hope to get a part in the Casebrook production.
Jack Bond:
Kia ora. My name is Jack Bond and I am 12 years old. The thing that I love the most about Casebrook is that it’s a great school of opportunities for the future. I’m looking forward to leading Sawyers to victory this year and having lots of good laughs on the way. In my spare time I like to play cricket, hockey, mountain bike, drama, hang out with friends, go boating at the lakes and make people smile.
Mya Phillips:
I like the different opportunities that Casebrook has to offer e.g sports extension and Nōku te ao. I also like how the teachers make me feel very welcome. I am looking forward to the leadership roles that I have as deputy head girl and house captain for Northfield. I am also looking forward to going on the Year 8 camp. In my spare time I like competing and training for athletics, netball and basketball and going on holidays with my family.
Keira Christensen:
I love Casebrook because of all of the opportunities that we are offered. I am most looking forward to getting to know all of the Year sevens and I am also excited about competing in our school cross country. In my spare time I love hanging out with friends, reading and running.
