Traditionally this is a very busy but enjoyable term as we celebrate the many successes of our students.
During the next three weeks we have groups moving all over the country: there is a group of students travelling to Wellington on the 'Capital Connection' tour. They will explore our capital city and enjoy the main attractions. Our Chess team travel to Auckland to compete in the National finals and two Water Polo teams travel to Dunedin to compete in the South Island Competition. Best wishes to all groups and a sincere thank you to the staff and parents who are supporting them.
Today our group return from their trip to Korea and Japan. For the students this was an opportunity to visit these countries and experience the cultures while Tracy Goulden and Rhys Williams used the time to meet with agents and organise student groups for 2019.
Tomorrow we have our Casebrook Challenge assemblies, Year 7 at 12 noon and Year 8 at 1:45pm. You are welcome to join us.
Thank you for supporting our staff with the early school closings on the first two Wednesdays of this term. The professional learning will be beneficial for all.
During this term we will be working with many students to ensure their transition into our school or on to High School is as smooth as possible. If you believe your child requires additional support or you have concerns, please contact Mr Mark Russell.
We will continue to keep you informed of future events through the school app. Thank you for your ongoing support and I hope the term goes well.
