It's been another successful year at the annual Cantamath competition.
Well done to the Year 7 and 8 teams for putting their amazing problem solving skills to the test against over 90 other Canterbury schools.
Year 7 Team: Azaria King, Ben MacLennan, Petram Hassanian and Cameron Talbot.
Year 8 Team: Amy Britten, Naomi Beechey, Caleb Cottom and Katherine Rutter.
There were also a number of great results in the display part of the competition:
An excellence award in class projects went to Mr Cook and his technical maths team for their geodesic dome.
Maya Halford also gained an excellence award for her amazing maths-themed quilt.
Congratulations also to Katherine Rutter, Avalon Stack, Cameron Joe, Marina Setu, Shayde Heitia-Brett and Meleane Kinikini who also received highly commended for their mathematical themed quilts.
Max Coulter and Ethan Nuttall were also awarded a highly commended for their scale model CO2 cars.
