Congratulations to students who represented Casebrook this week in Ashburton. There were some amazing successes but just as important is the wonderful manner in which the team represented our school. Congratulations to all and a very special thank you to Miss Charlotte Gardner for her organisation and to Rebecca MacLennan for providing an amazing morning tea and lunch for staff from all the schools. This year was Casebrook's turn to cater.
The end of the year is fast approaching and with it a wide range of commitments for our students, please consult the calendar and be sure to pencil in the Final Assembly and the Year 8 Leavers function. It is important students attend these as they celebrate the end of their time with us - Year 8 students especially.
We also appreciate many of the activities have a cost attached. If this is an issue for your family, please do not hesitate to contact me as the BOT and PTA want to ensure all students can access events.
A number of our student leaders recently enjoyed a leadership course called 'Be Inspired'.
We are looking forward to the first cluster celebration tomorrow night. It is a very casual event where you are invited to bring a picnic and be entertained by students from the cluster. If it is wet the event will be cancelled and rescheduled for Term One - hard to believe we have had wonderful weather all week and rain is predicted for Friday. Thank you to Mr Brad Meads and Miss Lydia Muschamp who have been very involved in the organisation and to all staff for their willingness to assist.
Please contact us if you have any concerns about your child as they move on to Secondary School, we have systems that can ensure a smooth transition. Also, we are still receiving enrolments for Year 7 students in 2016, our roll remains open but to assist us with our planning it is good to have the enrolments in. Roll numbers are very positive.
Enjoy the build up to Christmas and we hope to see you at the many forthcoming events.
Regards
