Aerobics & Dance Competition 2018

Casebrook Intermediate School entered three Hip Hop teams into the Primary Schools & Canterbury AIMS Aerobics and Dance Competition, held at Hornby High School on Wednesday 5 September.

Every Monday (over the past five weeks) has seen Angela Hegarty and three Hip Hop teams, working together to create dances.  This year we entered three teams into the novice section of the competition and one of these teams, the Bass Rollers, received third place!

Well done to the following students who have worked hard to put a polished live performance together:

Bass Rollers: Olivia C, Isabella F, Madi L, Evie P & Maliyah S

Vintage Funk: Ariella B, Lily B, Chloe D, Chloe J, Maia O, Amelia R & Emily Y

Fresh Bel Airs: Makalah B, Piper D, Shahana H, Imogen T, Paige Mc, Crystal T & Nicole W

This was a great way to spend a Wednesday morning, watching aerobic groups, Hip Hop teams and being super inspired by some of the other schools performances too.

Special thanks must go to Angela for getting the girls ready for the competition.
