Free Fruit Prize!

Emily Yeo of Room 4, Casebrook Intermediate won a Countdown colouring competition, which resulted in a free fruit box for her whole class!

Emily won the box by colouring in a picture in the newspaper of a bowl of fruit.The picture took up a quarter of a newspaper page. Emily said it took an hour to complete.

She said, “I was happy and surprised when one week later they let me know I had won. Mum was proud of me.”

The box contained mandarins, bananas and apples, which her class really enjoyed at school.

Emily enjoys creating works of art and found the colouring competition a good way to display her talent.

She is very happy with the results of her entry and hopes to enter more competitions.
