Top Town with the Crusaders

Last month the Shirley rugby under thirteen team went to meet the Crusaders at Top Town where they were placed first in the competition. As a prize they were invited to watch the Crusaders train at AMI stadium.

Keegan Piper from Room 1 and Armani Lemalu from Room 3 were in the Shirley team. Armani said, “I liked the Crusaders activities that they did the best.” Armani also said, “I also liked this bouncy castle thing where you go through a tunnel, then go through some boxing bags and finally go up a ladder and slide down the attached slide then run to the start”.

Keegan says “ I probably want to go there when it's on again because it’s so fun!”

Keegan and Armani and their team were invited to watch the Captain’s run at AMI stadium last Thursday to watch the Crusaders train. “It was pretty cool watching all the Crusaders and their different techniques,” Keegan said.
