Here is a selection of the various sports we have on offer.
Casebrook basketball teams playing at the Bishopdale YMCA competition (10 weeks), Term 2 and 3 every Friday evening between 4.00pm to 7.30pm.
Casebrook now has seven netball teams participating in the Hagley competitions including several boys. These teams are a combination of Year 7 and 8's and teams are committed to weekly training sessions and have been displaying a high skill set.
Rugby and Rugby League at Casebrook is a real strength. We pride ourselves on putting together a strong competitive team. This year, our league team competed in the Canterbury Champs and came 3rd. We currently send two rugby teams and one league team to the Hagley competition to play against other Intermediate Schools.
Our volleyball teams have a proud tradition of success at Intermediate school tournaments.
Casebrook enters six mixed hockey teams in a weekly Hagley winter sports competition, involving Intermediate schools in Christchurch. It is one of our main winter sports options and is a great chance for the students to learn the necessary skill sets.
Casebrook enters four football teams, boys and girls, in a weekly Hagley winter sports competition, involving Intermediate schools in Christchurch.
Our two Water Polo teams train every week and compete on Monday and Friday nights. Casebrook has experienced their most successful year with the A team placing 1st during Term 1 and 2 and our B team winning the E, D and C grade.
Later in the year, both teams travel down to Dunedin to compete in the South Island Water Polo Championship where our A team placed 2nd and some of our players were selected for the tournament teams.

Teams for the following sports compete in the Summer Hagley Sports Competition.
Duathlon, AIMS swimming, Rugby and League Tournament, Gymnastics, AIMS cross country, Hockey and 7's tournament, Aerobics and Hip-hop competition, CAIMS invitation tournament, Triathlon, Summer tournament.
